Heather Stevens (Owner/Coach) – grew up in the country in Mount Summit, Indiana, which is just north of New Castle. She began her gymnastics career when her parents thought she had too much energy. At age 4, she started taking classes at Gymnastics Junction. She then moved to the competitive team under the instruction of Holly Kollmeyer. She started competing at 6 years old and continued until she graduated from high school at age 18. While competing, she earned many state championship titles, traveled to Massachusetts for Nationals where she placed 10th on Vault, 5th on Floor, and 14th in All-Around, and competed at AAU Nationals in North Carolina where she placed 6th on Vault, 11th on Floor, and 14th in All-Around, achieved Level 10, and won the IHSAA Mental Attitude Award her senior year for high school gymnastics.

After graduating high school in 2000, she moved to Indianapolis where she attended the University of Indianapolis majoring in Exercise Science/Physical Education. While in college, she wanted to share her gymnastics knowledge so she began working at Hoosier Gymnastics Training Center, in August of 2000, where she taught various classes and all levels of team until April 2005. She also obtained her judging license to become a certified USAG Judge for Level 4, 5, & 6.

Cami Lain (Coach) - grew up in Hobart, Indiana (Northwest Indiana).  She began gymnastics at age 3 at the local YMCA.  After a few years, she began competing for a private club in the area.  Cami continued to compete until she graduated high school.  While competing, she also taught preschool gymnastics for one of her high school coaches.  She also competed in power tumbling, where she finished second at Nationals, and her team finished first.

After high school, Cami attended Indiana University and graduated with a BS in elementary education.  During the school-year, Cami teaches sixth grade at a local middle school.  In 2007, she began teaching gymnastics classes at Fusion.

Hailey (Teacher) - started teaching at Fusion about 5 years ago.  She is a student at IUPUI and enjoys hanging out with friends and family in her free time.  She started doing gymnastics when she was 2 and did it through 8th grade until an injury ended the sport for her.  Now is just happy to be able to teach others the sport that she has always loved.  Her favorite part of teaching is watching the kids grow and advance as people and gymnasts.
